This is Sunday, December 4, the day the BCS Rankings will be announced. The following is a media comment that I am reposting before the announcement due at 8:15PM ET this evening. I will add to this post after the announcement is made:
Michigan: The biggest brand name in college football, not to mention the winningest program by wins and percentage, has made a dramatic turnaround, finishing a 10-2 season with a streak-busting victory over archrival Ohio State. The Wolverines need to be in the top 14 to be selected, and it appears that they have done just that.
YES! The Wolverines will take on Virginia Tech in the 2012 Sugar Bowl in New Orleans Louisiana on Tuesday, 8:30 p.m. ET, Jan. 3, 2012, where thousands of Michigan alumni, fans and friends will cheer on Head Coach Brady Hoke and the Michigan football team to victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies.
